It seems that everything is slipping away from us
This is coming from my reading of the latest edition of Adbusters, which talks a lot about how humanity is destroying itself by trying to hard and taking things too quickly. We plan out our whole lives, we're always trying to go faster and faster and because of all those, we don't create so much as we merely cope with life. We aren't meant to live like this, we're meant to contemplate and be creative, we're slowly losing our sanity and our humanity and becoming more and more apathetic, this realization has been depressing me. But we can still pull out of this if we realize it and work to change things. We all just need to take more time out and just enjoy nature and simplicity and slowness before we're overtaken by speed.
